Radeon Rx6750 XT OC running too hot - Safe operating temp?

Hi,

I have just bought myself a Gigabyte RX 6750 XT OC 12GB DDR6 card. Today I tried the spiderman remaster on High settings, 1440p resolution. I was getting good frames, average at about 130fps, but after about 30 mins of playing the Gpu temperature was 75-78C and the Memory junction temperature was 88-90C. The card has 3 fans, which were running at about 2300rpm. Utilization was 97-99% throughout.

I am wondering if these temperatures are 'safe' for my card, or should I consider gaming at a lower res or detail.

My 6800 XT hovers around those temps at full usage and only ever hit 95c at its hottest hotspot temp. Your temps are well within spec. Gigabyte cards I did notice just run hotter than most other AIBs.

Ryzen 7 7700X, MSI MAG X670E Tomahawk Wifi, Corsair DOMINATOR® TITANIUM RGB 2x16GB DDR5 DRAM 6000MT/s CL30, AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT, Corsair HX Series™ HX1000, Corsair MP600 PRO NH 4TB

Just played Star wars Jedi Fallen Order on Ultra 1440 with an ASUS STRIX RX6750XT About 55C and Junction about 77C @2200 RPM,A lot will depend on case/airflow and ambient temps.

I guess I will try running the game with the case open and see if the temperature lowers. I already have 3 intake fans on case, one outtake fan on case, and two outtake fans on the AIO. I don't think it needs any more fans , but let's see. Thank you for answering.

You could but the temps you are observing are 100% fine. These gpus don't overheat until 110c

It's safe bro.  You can also adjust the fan curve on your GPU to help, lower the clock freq/mem freqz/voltage/power.  All settings inside adrenaline

Your temps are pretty good. If you want lower temps you can increase fan max speed limit in adrenaline software.
