Graphics Cards

I am trying to play an old game, for this to work I must use these compatibility settings. The issue is that when I start the program in reduced color mode, the text and buttons are blacked out or have a black background. Is this a graphics card issue? is there a way to fix this without disabling the card?

Do a search for getting old games to run, maybe try some tools for old games like DGVoodoo2. Try
