Hi I'm having a problem with my video card driver I can only get ahold of the newest one I'm using and AMD Radeon hd 6970 when I install it my computer restarts and just starts an endless loop of restarting.

Same problem since the driver 21.11.3 - all newer ones brick my windows and my pc wents into an endless boot loop and i have to reinstall windows

If you are using the latest AMD Driver instead of the last supported AMD driver from 2015/2016 for your HD6970 that is why you are having severe issues.

The latest AMD Driver is not compatible only the AMD driver from 2015 & 2016 from here: https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/amd-radeon-hd/amd-radeon-hd-6000-series/amd-radeon-hd-6970

You didn't mention the GPU card you are having problem with.

I own the 6800Xt, there are many more threads in this community about bricked windows and blackscreens above driver 21.11.3.

Hopefully amd will fix this
