Problem fan 5700XT

Hi,

I have a problem with my new gigabyte 5700XT 8Go OC.

I run at :

- 45 degrees on window (no fan rotating)

- 50-70 degrees on game (2 fan rotating left and right)

when I turn my fan at 100% to test it. The fan locate in the middle juste never rotate.

I think the middle one is broken ?

Do you know how I can be sure of that ?

thank you

If your card has 3 fans, then all 3 should spin when you set them to 100%.

If only 1 of them is not spinning, even with fan speed set to 100%, then its is indeed broken.

I am sorry to hear that you have this issue. Make sure to contact your vendor for a replacement card.

This is a hardware problem which is covered by your warranty.

Just in case: Are your power connectors connected to the graphics card correctly?

Make sure they are sitting tight and all the way in - maybe even reconnect them and check the pins.

Did you

1. Just increase the fan % slider to 100%?

Or did you

2. Use Advanced Fan Control option to turn the Fan Curve into a rectangle at 100% for all temps.

If you did 2. and all fans are not spinning, then likely something wrong.

Make sure you have no 3rd party OC tool installed.
MSI Afterburner well known to mess with AMD GPU fan control.

Gigabyte GPUs come with a 3rd Party GPU OC tool.
Did you download and install it?

It might override Adrenalin Driver fan curve.
