I am unable to play Netflix HDR content on my Vega 56. Reading online I can see that RX 400, 500 and 5000 series support MS play ready 3.0, however it is not supported by Vega series discrete cards, desktop and mobile APUs.
I am hoping this is not true, as it makes really poor business sense to me. I think Vega architecture has been used for 3 generation of APUs and two generation of discrete cards and I am guessing it affects quite a substantial customer base in last three years for AMD where their market share has grown.
Are we expecting this to be resolved anytime soon?
