Monitor refresh rate only 30Hz

Hello,

I have asus vivobook s15 m533ia-bq090t with Ryzen 7 4700U integrated graphic card. This notebook has HDMI 1.4 based on product information. I have external monitor EIZO ev2736wfs. However when connecting this monitor via HDMI/DVI cable I am able to use max resolution onlz 2560x1440 30Hz. I am not able to use 2560x1440 60Hz. Any idea why it is not allowed or how to fix it to use 60Hz? Is there some AMD software issue?

Thanks for help

Some adapters/cables aren't capable of converting 60Hz at High Resolutions.

You will need an "Active" Dual Link Adapter. But I haven't been able to find any HDMI>DVI-D that support Resolutions higher than 1920x1200 Resolutions which are really using Single Link DVI instead of Dual Link DVI.

So depending on your HDMI>DVI Adapter or cable it depends on what Hz it will run at on which specific High Resolutions.

What is the exact Make & Model of your HDMI>DVI-D Adapter?

Does it mention that it supports 2560x1440  at 60Hz or 30Hz?
