Graphics Cards

Hi All,

I have been tearing my hair out trying to solve an issue with micro stuttering when playing different games.

My current specification is as follows:

Ryzen 7 2700x

Asus prime b450 plus motherboard

32gb corsair 2666mhz ddr4 ram

700w psu

MSI GTX 1080ti. m.2 boot drive.

SSD for games.

HDD for other stuff.

I have tried the following

1. Disable anti virus
2. Ran games on low / performance settings
3. Replaced various components such as the graphics card with a Rx 5700xt  (Twice)
4. I have also tried three different sets of RAM
5. I have tried various power configuration and settings
6. Reset windows 3 times
7. All chip set drivers are updated

and I still have the issue.

Before I go and buy a new motherboard or CPU is there anything else anyone can recommend I try?

Connect your system to a 144 hertz panel that supports adaptive-sync ie FreeSync and turn on (GSYNC feature and) vsync feature in nVidia control panel graphics settings.
