Dear Reader,
According to GPU-Z the memory controller load on my RX 580 is always on 100% load, even while idle.
The other values (like GPU core clock, memory Clock, fan speed etc.) are all going down to idle values.
I already restarted the PC.
Now I am curious, is it correct/normal that the usage of the memory controller is always 100%? It seems strange to me
My system is:
CPU: AMD RYZEN 1600
MotherBoard: AB350 Gaming3
Ram: 16GB @2933
PSU: 550W
Monitor: 1only
GPU: RX580
OS: Windown 10 Home X64
AMD DRIVER: 17.6.2
Thanks in advance for your help.
One for amdmatt or @ray_m
My RX470 somehow got stuck running 1750 also somehow during the driver updates. I don't use Global Wattman but when the gpu memory frequency it was set to max. I just switched it back to Dynamic and it clocks at 300 Mhz and scales up on demand. Or just set it to reset.
that happened to me too, changed the monitor refresh rate back to 144 Hz, some how after driver updates went back down to 199 Hz.
in another subject, now re:live isn't working anymore.
in the subject of memory load, I have the same. is always at 100%, even during idle, while the other clocks come down to 300 Mhz any ideas ? or is time for good old windows reinstall
same with my gpu memory controller load 100% driver 17.8.1 is it normal?
same problem with my RX 580 8GB AXRX 580 8GBD5-3DHDV2/OC on 18.7.1 drivers. the 18.5.1 are just even more horrible-crashes the game due to lack vram/dram. anyone knows if 18.10.1 are stable?
This bug has been fixed months ago. Download Display Driver Uninstaller DDU and then install 18.10.1.
thank you. i'll give them a try, if something unstable-i'll revert back.
memolry clock remains the same-at 2000mhz on idle. seems like the fix using drivers does not work. any other solution?
