Is AMD FirePro™ V7900 professional card supported by Ansys

Dear everyone,

I have the chance to upgrade my old video card to the new AMD FirePro™ V7900 professional card to be used in CAD/CAE applications. I installed the latest driver for Windows10 (64Bit) but unfortunately I get absolutely no benefit in performance when trying to animate a scene using Ansys software. I’m running my application using the following hardware 16GB Ram, Intel Core i7 4930K, and Gigabyte X79-UP4 motherboard. Would you please let me know if the card is certified by Ansys for Windows 64? If yes, would you please let me know where can I find a link for approved driver of the CAE software vendor. I'm sorry for my bad English. Thank you.

Best Regards,

Nabeh

Your card is supported only for Linux x64 ( RHEL 7.0 x64) but i think Ansys may has gpu hardware acceleration only for NVidia cards (CUDA)

In any case, it is obvious that Ansys is NVidia oriented (and optimized) software
