How do I recover screen brightness control on my Samsung Series 7 Ultra Notebook (NP740U3E) with AMD Radeon HD 8570M graphics card?

Hello

How do I recover screen brightness control on my Samsung Series 7 Ultra Notebook (NP740U3E) with AMD Radeon HD 8570M graphics card

I am running Windows 10 Pro (x64) version 2004 (OS Build 19041.388).

I have tried installing AMD Adrenalin Adrenalin (version 20.4.2) but still the function keys (Fn/F2 an Fn/F3) don't change the screen brightness. If I go to Windows Settings ==> System ==> Display, there is a slider that is supposed to control screen brightness and Fn/F2 and Fn/F3 can move the slider! But moving the slider has no effect.

I tried uninstalling all the AMS drivers and just running the built in Intel graphics card "Intel HD Graphics 4000". I tried adjusting the brightness through the "Intel HD Graphics Control Panel"  but it has no effect on how bright the white areas of the screen are. (All that happens is that the coloured areas of the screen get more or less washed out!)

Any suggestions?
