My HD 5970 is showing 4x / 2x PCI-E 2.0 mode in GPU-Z and only works with driver 14.3 in Crossfire, not with the new drivers (anymore), it worked fine with 15.7 before, but not anymore. What can I do? Is the card (partially) broken?

I need to Try it.

Last driver Version which worked for me was Catalyst 13.30 Beta.

I testes 16.1 Crimson Beta, 15.7, 14.12, 14.9, 14,4, but al of them showed Crossfire "Disabled" in GPU-Z.

Same for me, see HD5970 crossfire not working

15.7 was the last working driver on my system which supported my HD5970 Crossfire 😞
