I have HD 5830 card, I need to connect it to 2k resolution monitor , how I need do the connection by HDMI or DVI ? from spec it should support 2k
Well if it's 2560x1600, then DVI, but if it's 2560x1440, either will work, though I would prefer DVI IF the monitor has a native DVI input, else HDMI.
So HDMI doesn't work at 2k, only supported 1920x1200 . I tried to connect DVI to DP (LCD) via adapter but it not work at all (monitor going to sleep, no picture)
What is wrong ?
