Hello. About 3 weeks ago my GPU crashed and I sent it for warranty. They answered me today. They say that the production of the rx 580 has stopped. That's why they said they didn't have any other gpu so they would pay the price back. But the price they will pay is 10% of the current price.

Has rx 580's production been stopped?

Did you send in the GPU to AMD directly or the Retailer/Vendor or Manufacturer of the GPU to RMA?

Also the price they are quoting may be Pro-rated price or the price you originally paid.

IF you live in the EU, then you are, by law, covered for 2 years Warranty by the Retailer. The Retailer is the one that determines what action they will take concerning your RMA of your GPU card.

If you are still under warranty then they should replace the RX580 with a new low end Navi GPU with equivalent performance and same VRAM size.

They are trying to rip you off.
