i use my gpu a rx 6800 with a pcie4 riser cable. In windows i get gpu crashes, in linux it does not happen WHY?

Check updates for Windows as well as Bios first and if you are using  Radeon tweak or afterburn make sure to test using Kombuster and if none apply to you, you might wanna use them to underclock, Undervolting or overclock the GPU at your own risk!   Also, what are your complete spec's on your PC... PS sometimes it's even simpler by going into MSConfig and set boot to normal.  What os are you running and are you up to date on Direct X and what version are you using?
