I am really impressed with the target temperature application. I do not need any kind of third party program to adjust my fans,,,,I have it set for 85c and even with the 25min burn in it never went over 84c.

Ran burn in 10min,max temp76c,fan 77%(no fan profile).
Don't forget the 9600XT which trounced all cards of the time, until nVidia released the 9800 alphabet soup over the next 5 years. But, here's my GPUz. Note the 12v reading which must be in error. These Sapphire 290X Tri-X cards have a few known quirks, such as lacking a Target Temperature setting.
" such as lacking a Target Temperature setting." I have noticed that a lot. Maybe it's only the reference cards that have it. Probably it's because the seller of the card has their own program to handle the fans and such. Asus is bad about that.
