You are absolutely right. All those settings are missing indeed. This crimson edition driver+settings panel feels like a joke.
List of missing items which I urgently need:
1. Basic Video Color Settings
2. Color Vibrance + Slider
3. Flesh-tone Correction + Slider
4. Brighter Whites
5. Dynamic Range
6. Video Gamma + Slider
7. Deinterlacing Setting
8. Pulldown detection
9. Edge enhancement + Slider
10. De-noise + Slider
11. Mosquito Noise Reduction + Slider
12. De-blocking + Slider
13. Dynamic Contrast
What kind of software developers these companies hire nowadays? Are we progressing backwards?
i do like the new software but would like to change the Dynamic Range to "Full" and "Turn Off" everything else
@amdmatt you there
Indeed, i had my monitor set up perfectly after meddling with settings for a long time. And now with these new drivers they ripped it out completely! This is the same bull we have seen in videogames the last decade, slowly ripping out their gamma and brightness options. These new drivers are suppose to be a new start for drivers in AMD but instead they took one step forward and than another step back.
Yes! I frequently turned on and off different video settings like mosquito noise reduction and changed the deinterlacing type. I can no longer do this. Access to those types of settings was one of the major reasons I ditched Nvidia.
I couldn't do that even by changing registry. So I changed back to old CCC and installed new drivers only, but not the new settings panel.
Default and Custom seem to be okey for my needs, they dont do much to the final image, basicly nothing compared to vivid, and the other ones, but i suspect the Cinama Classic is the one with dynamic range set to full but it seem to also enable some denoise 😕
i dont want denoise on my perfect blu-ray picture quality
it should have been looking almost like this (simple paint.net modification)
I completely agree with you. This is exactly what crimson should have been.
