Constant LKD_0x141 and LKD_0x117 Crashes in Destiny 2

Since upgrading to Catalyst Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.2.2 Recommended (WHQL) and then after formatting and reinstalling O/S and going to Catalyst Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.3.1 Destiny 2 hangs my PC or faults in various Windows system DLLs resulting in LKD_0x141 and LKD_0x117 faults, this is typically after about 10 - 15 minutes in a play session.  This is constant and can be reproduced.  I swapped out my Vega 64 with an NVIDIA 1050 Ti from my kid's machine, and I do not have the same problems and the game runs stable for entire play sessions.  I have a RX 470 laying around that I haven't bothered with because the 1050 Ti runs stable.  I have reported the issues multiple times to Bungie and their community rep on their forums responds that it's an AMD issue and not a Bungie or Direct X issue and to report the problem here.  I see that there are new catalyst drivers out, I will try a clean install of those and see what happens.

X370 ( Taichi ) Promontory with:

BIOS: BIOS Date: 03/02/18 19:23:58 Ver: 05.0000D (type: BIOS)
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Six-Core Processor (12 CPUs), ~3.7GHz
Memory: 16384MB RAM

Vega 64 Stock

Card name: Radeon RX Vega
Manufacturer: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
Chip type: AMD Radeon Graphics Processor (0x687F)

Freesync enabled on:

Monitor Model: C27HG7x
Monitor Id: SAM0E16
Native Mode: 2560 x 1440(p) (143.998Hz)

Output Type: Displayport External

I've turned every other graphics setting other than Freesync off in game and in the Catalyst Adrenalin software.  No AA, no Radeon boosting of any kind, lowest texture settings, nothing, the game looks awful and still crashes.

This is my last resort for troubleshooting.  If the game continues to give issues, I'll just cross-save and run on GeForce Now on my PC.  I don't have issues with the Vega 64 in Rocket League, Far Cry 5, or The Witcher 3, so I'll probably just keep the video card and run the odd games it has problems with on GeForce Now as they come up to save myself the frustration.  Something odd with AMD and Destiny 2 right now.

Thanks for the help.

Can confirm after doing driver uninstall utility that with 20.4.1 system hang still happens.  Sometimes it's system hang and other times I can grab the faults.  Will update with dxdiag for the faults when they happen.  System hang about 15 minutes into session.  Same settings, everything off in Adrenalin, everything off in Destiny 2, and only Freesync enabled.

Have continued to monitor the past couple of days.  Was worried that perhaps the stock fan or cooling was not working, but in Metric Overlay, the GPU temp has never gone over 73 - 74 Celsius, and it typically sustains around 68 - 70 Celsius.  VRAM utilization with the lowest texture settings I'm using is continually around 25% utilized.

Meanwhile have found scenes in the game that consistently crash Destiny 2.

This seems like some type of bus issue.  I played around with a lot of settings and have been stable for 6 - 8 hours of gaming by setting the sound quality on my RealTek onboard sound to 41000 Hz in Control Panel.  I'm not sure if this is an API issue that Destiny 2 has with Direct X, if it's some type of I/O contention issue between the GPU and onboard sound on the PCI-E lanes, or if it's some Microsoft issue with their latest updates.  Whatever it is the only way to fix is to crank the sound quality down.
