Been getting a BSOD with the error atikmpag.sys for a while now. Weird thing is, it only happens once, every day after starting my PC up for the first time. I tried reinstalling Windows, updating BIOS, newest drivers, older drivers, Display Driver Uninstaller, etc etc. I don't have another PC to test the card on.

I don't know what to do anymore. Help?
Do you have the AMD drivers and software installed on the same drive/partition with the OS? The default location....
Yes, I have all drivers on my SSD (C drive).
There was no answer here...many in the Radeon community are encountering this and from searches, this has been going on a while. I have a RX480 and can hardly use my system as the screen flickers, changes resolutions, switches monitors (seemingly losing track of one of them) and then eventually BSOD with the TDR error reported (most often) on either the atikmpag or atikmdag sys files. Loved my cross-fired duel HD6870s - ran like champs but this is enough to make me want to pull the RX480 and go NVidia just to get away from this unresolvable issue.
- Win10 v1073
- Ran DDU (Safe Mode) and reinstalled latest drivers many times
- Drivers are on the OS drive
Typed too much - running risk of crashing so will post now
I sent it back. Hope they send me a new one. If I get my money back I'm switching to Nvidia once and for all.
And which controller is installed on your computer? Trixx? Afterburner? MSI? Asus?
Running a MSI RX480 4G with standard Radeon drivers (latest) - no afterburner.
Changed the TdrDelay setting to 8 secs...now I am not crashing but it has not addressed the issue. Still getting constant flashing, changing resolutions and switching of screens. A ASUS monitor completely stopped working (was not being detected). Switched DisplayPort ports and it came back on and ran for a bit fine but has since started acting up again.
