I swear I read somewhere that with certain AMD gpu's, one could downscale the resolution to increase performance? For example, gaming on a 4k monitor, you could essentially reduce from 3840x2160 to 3200x**** without distorting the image or anything? Did I misread that article or misunderstand? Essentially if your system was struggling to run something at full 4k, you could reduce resolution incrementally until you reached performance you're satisfied with, without having to drop down completely to 1440 or 1080. Problem is I cant find anything about this anywhere online lol.
