I have a Lenovo G505s with A10 570m CPU (with 8650G) and R5 M230 video card.
I installed the latest beta Crimson Software (AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.1.1 Hotfix Release Notes), but the dual graphics doesn't work (or with any other Crimson edition) and the laptop always use the 8650G, not the R5 M230 (and I can't set to use the GPU).
As I can see from some other talking, it's an active issue (Re: switchable graphics does not work! ).
Some plus information:
OS: Windows 10 x64
Radeon Software Version 16.1.1
Radeon Settings Version 2016.0203.1043.19267
Driver Packaging Version 15.301.1801.1001-160203a-299101E
Is there any way to make it working, or set some application to use the dedicated GPU and not the APU?
The issue here is your integrated GPU requires the legacy Crimson drivers and your discrete GPU requires the regular Crimson drivers. Because of this there is a conflict which is going to prevent switchable graphics from functioning correctly. To maintain functionality you should use either Catalyst 15.11.1 Beta or the latest AMD drivers provided by Lenovo here.
First of all, thank you for fast reply!
First I uninstalled the Crimson and all other AMD stuff (I used AMD Cleanup Utility too), and installed the beta driver which you suggested.
The dual graphics didn't work with this, so I tried AMD drivers provided by Lenovo, but that didn't work too.
For testing, I used Team Fortess 2 and I watched the Switchable Graphics Application Monitor in CCC for some information, which said the program always in Power Saving (so I think it's used only the integrated GPU). (I set everything for maximum performance)
For some other information, i used GPU-Z too, and it's showed activity for integrated GPU only.
I installed Lenovo Solution Center for run some video card test, and when it tested direct the discrete GPU, it showed activity and performance.
So my question is, there is any appropriate driver for Windows 10 64 bit where dual graphics is working (with GCN (discrete) and non-GCN (integrated) CPU)?
(Or I can switch between integrated and discrete GPU )
Are you sure you added the game application executable to Catalyst Control Center? Show me a couple of screenshots of the all the Catalyst Control Center Switchable Graphics sections.
Every game and application can only use the integrated GPU.
Some game (which I tested):
