7900 xt irregular peformance

my 7900 xt is acting weird. game like cyberpunk, call of duty, and witcher crash a lot. once i was playing cyberpunk for hours but my performance was god awful only hitting 60 fps at 1440p ultra fsr quality. then the next day i'm hitting 100-120 fps with the same settings but my whole rig crashes and it makes the terrible EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE sound. scared me half to death. i'm running my 7900xt with 2 separate 8 pin cables not a split. does anyone else have this issue, and if so how did you fix it

Have you checked the heat of your gpu while playing? Maybe there's a problem with your cooling solution, perhaps it's throttling. Check cpu temps too.

highest i seen is 68-70c gpu temp and 81c junction temp when playing cyberpunk. are these temp normal?

cpu temp was 73.4 right before a crash.
