particular game such as Rainbow six siege, when as desktop (with intel i7-8700), at ultra setting, the fps can reach 150 to 170, at 1080p, but as Egpu, with (i7-1065g7), the frame frop to 60 to 90, at even at low setting, 720p, the graphic card usage was very low, at 10 to 30 percent usage. there is nothing wrong with the laptop and the egpu case, because with borrowed nvidia 1070, it runs at 140 fps, similar to the desktop performance. the performance drop with 5700xt was too significant to be true.
