5700 XT Black Screen - Can't see motherboard bios

So I recently got a 5700 XT Gaming X but didn't have any display output. I managed to solve this by remoting into windows and installing drivers, but you shouldn't have to remote into windows for that.

Now, the issue is when I turn on my computer, I can't see it post or see the bios as I have no display signal. There's also no image when in safe mode. I only see an image once Windows loads so I'm assuming that I need the drivers installed to have an image, but obviously the drivers wont load before windows, so I can't see my bios. I have tried both HDMI and DP.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

I can assume that I'm entering the bios, but can't actually see my screen to verify that. I can access my bios and see my screen with my old 1060 however.
