i have a setup with 2 firepro w600 in one pc. It is like videowall operation (4x3)
I can play 4K video in 2x2 screens in realtime.
When i stretch video to full size (7680x3240) it is getting out of realtime.
What are offers to play a video in 4x3 videowall screens with 2 firepro w600?
- should i change OS?
- should i try another player (i have tried quicktime, mediaplayer, media player classic, vlc )
or what else?
I am dealing with the same issue. I have 2 x w600 in one PC win 10 and I need to play video fullscreen across 12 monitors. So far the best I can do is an older version of the VLC player using the image wall settings. However, I can't create a playlist or launch new videos without re-configuring VLC every time a video starts. According the AMD's latest driver documentation, I should be able to create an eyefinity display group across all 12 monitors. Can't get it working yet.
Someone please help us out!
You need a third party application to enable a single large image to be stretched across a display wall configured with 12 displays using 2x W600, like:
We successfully did that for a 1x12 for a project we did in 2013 -- We wrote our own video player. I am curious if it is possible to drive a 4x6 video wall using 3 x W600s. Does eyefinity allow stretching the display across all 24 monitors? We want to try and see if we can smoothly play out an 8K or 6K video. 4K should play just fine. @fsadough?
