120hz

Hi !

Own an Asus Tuf fx505dy and can't set the refresh rate from the main monitor of the laptop at 120hz. From the description the main monitor of the laptop should be able to run at 120hz refresh rate and yet the max. display rate is 60hz. Tried to connect an external monitor and the refresh rate went up to 120hz+. Don't know which is the main issue.

Installed latest drivers  and the windows is up to date. Got windows 11.

A little help !

 Thank you !!!!

Thanks for the link to your laptop's specs.

It clearly shows you Display Maximum Frequency is 60Hz at 1920 x 1080:

You can't run your Display at 144Hz since it doesn't support that frequency. You can if you connect an external Display but not your main Laptop Display.

Gladly try to help but without knowing the exact Make & Model of your laptop it is impossible, at least for me, to give any suggestions.
