Hi, I'm desperate, I don't know what to do.
The bottom line is that the AMD driver blocks DirectX when opening a large number of 3D applications, starting from version 18.6.1. It doesn't matter what the load on the graphics card is, just the fact that 3D applications are open causes the DDI to change from 12 to 9Ex and the function level field becomes empty, which can be seen in dxdiag.
directdraw acceleration: not available
direct3d acceleration: available
agp texture acceleration: not available
when trying to open something with 3d acceleration, an error appears "3d acceleration error"
The limitation is in the region of 40-50 applications, when DDI 12 is disabled, even opening the calculator is accompanied by a freeze of the Windows 10 system.
I thought that I had a hardware problem with the rx580, but after a test on my friend's computer, it turned out that the same thing was happening, but it's worth installing a driver, for example 17.10.1, the problem disappears, restrictions are removed, I can open and collapse applications in hundreds.
In advance sorry for english...
Please tell me how to disable this limitation on current drivers?
Apparently this is fixed at the registry level. By installing the drivers before restarting the application, you can open unlimited, after restarting the PC, everything is up to 45-50 and the DDI 9Ex system depends etc. Is there anyone who knows what needs to be removed, changed in the registry?
