So I started up DOOM 2016 to play it just to find out it won't work with Vulkan API enabled
This was sort of a deal-breaker for me , As I am a Gamer and obviously I know that Vulkan runs at least 2x better than OpenGL
So , I googled and eventually found out that some people also suffered from similar issues and opted back to previous drivers (17.x.x)
and replaced the vulkan1.dll and amdvlk64.dll and it ran fine for them , I was so desperate at that point that I copied both the files to my System32 folder and rebooted and proceeded to run DOOM on that again , still no luck
Then I clean-installed the drivers anf reinstalled the Vulkan SDK from official site , without any progress whatsoever
My game is fully patched up , the funny thing is ,
I DOWNLOADED VULKAN_TEST.EXE FROM LUNARG'S SITE AND IT STILL WONT FUKIN WORK
The test tool said that the things are up and running but still uncompatible , any help ?
Anyone ?
