Unable To Fix IsDone.dll Error

Hello friends. I recently bought a gaming PC. Whenever I try to install any games, the Isdon.dll error is showing. I don’t know why this is happening, and how to solve the issue. Can anyone provide any suggestions to solve this issue? It will be greatly appreciated.

My PC configurations are stated below:

CPU – Ryzen 5 3600

Motherboard – AsRock B450M Steel Legend

Memory – Adata XPG D30 8GBx2 3000Mhz

Graphics Card – Zotac Gaming GeForce RTX 2060

Thanks for replying. I have tried to solve it by applying system file scan, safe mode, disabling antivirus, etc; but the same problem was going on. I also tried installing new applications, registering new Unarc.dll files, and cleaning up the disk; but the same result was coming. Yesterday I fixed the problem after changing the primary memory (RAM). There was a problem with the 16 GB of RAM that was previously installed on my computer. When I installed a new 16 GB RAM on the computer, the problem was solved. This little thing doesn't cross my mind. Now there is no problem installing any games.

This recent Windows Tech site offers troubleshooting tips on how fix that .DLL error: https://windowsreport.com/fix-windows-10-isdone-dll-error/

(don't download their recommended software):

The Donnell error message is one that occasionally pops up when installing or running games in Windows 10.

When that error occurs, an ISDone.dll error message pops up along the lines of An error occurred while unpacking: archive corrupted. Unarc.dll returned an error code: -7.

The error message can vary slightly, but it’s always included within an ISDone.dll dialog box window. When it pops up, you can’t install or run the game.

The issue is primarily due to insufficient RAM or HDD storage for the game, but might also be due to corrupted DLL files. Here is how to fix the ISDone.dll error during game installations or running.

Go to these gaming sites to check if your PC meets the requirements for your game (s):

Thanks for the update. Please mark your last reply as the "Solution" so other will know what you did to fix your issue.

Actually I am quite surprised it was a RAM Issue. Nothing really gave any indication in that direction. Normally you would get BSODs or freezes or whatnot with bad or incompatible RAM installed.

Good troubleshooting.
