My laptop have 2 different graphic cards, how do I switch between them?

One of them have 1gb and the other one has 2, and I obvioulsy wanna use the 2nd one which is a "gaming" graphic card! but I cannot switch between them because my laptop always select the worse one as standard! How do I change this? I cannot launch CCC for some reason so that doesn't work :\ need some major help
