How do I get my Dell 3007WFP monitor to display higher than 1280 x 800 with a Radeon 480 card?

I just set up a new Dell XPS desktop computer.  I have 2 monitors.  A smaller LG L222WT and large Dell 3007WFP.  I cannot get the Dell resolution above 1280 x 800. I am using Display Fusion software to run the two monitor setup. The operating system is Windows 10.

Can anyone help me run the Dell monitor at higher resolutions?

Hi again everyone,

I was able to get the resolution up to 2560 x 1600 but everything was very fuzzy.  I only use the monitor for text and numbers 90% of the time.  No gaming. 

I have set the resolution back to 1200 x 800, which is not great, but at least everything is legible.

Might the problem be the cable? 
I had a similar issue with the same monitor about 8 years ago (maybe the monitor is too old!!!) but it was quite far from the computer (10') and changing the cable fixed the problem.
