Hi everyone,
I’m an engineer currently developing a product based on AMD Ryzen Embedded V3000 series processors.
While reviewing the Processor Programming Reference (PPR) for this CPU, I found that the Machine Check Architecture (MCA) defines four error levels:
From what I understand, both “Uncorrected” and “Deferred” errors are not corrected by hardware at the time of detection.
I’m particularly interested in understanding how “Deferred” errors are handled, and I would appreciate any insights on the following points:
Is it possible to recover from a Deferred error through software or OS-level intervention?
What are the main differences between Deferred and Uncorrected errors in terms of system behavior and recoverability?
If there are any relevant documents or application notes beyond the PPR that explain this in more detail, I’d be grateful if you could share them.
Thanks for your support.

You can try and open a AMD SUPPORT ticket and see if they can direct you to someone that specializes in Embedded CPUs from : https://www.amd.com/en/forms/contact-us/support.html
Also here is AMD Documentation website if you already haven't look there yet: https://www.amd.com/en/search/documentation/hub.html#q=Ryzen%20embedded%20v%20series&sortCriteria=%4...
Not sure if AMD Moderator of Pro GPU cards can assist you or not but I will tag him anyways @fsadough . He might be able to direct you in finding your answer.
This is an embedded product. A support ticket needs to be opened.
