GPU scaling not fixing desktop

I just received the new update on Windows 10 and it made my desktop too big for the screen. I had this issue before which I resolved by turning on GPU scaling, but now when I click that the screen goes black and the desktop remains too big for the screen.

I have AMD Radeon HD 7800 series on a 4k monitor.

Any suggestions on how I can fix this?

Start​ with using the AMD uninstaller or DDU and remove the current drivers. Re-Install the new version that AMD released post Win 10 update from a few days ago.  Does it work again?  If yes, leave that driver installed.   If no, please provide a full list of components your PC is using as well as any other weird things if they are happening.  Driver 17.4 2 should be the latest release.
