Congrats to AMD for never missing an opportunity to miss an opportunity. (9070XT price hikes)

I wanted a power color (or any) 9070XT which UK currys was selling for £569 but I had missed the initial stock on launch day so I had a page tracker and stock alert running to tell me when they were back in stock. Now just 7 days later I got a ping to say the page has had an alteration, I checked it just now and they have JACKED UP THE PRICE in just 7 days from £569 to now £679 for the same damned product in preparation for new stock. An absolute ridiculous price for a mid range card and they are FAR from alone in having done this.

If it were just Currys UK that have done this I would not be writing this post but AMD knows full well it is not. AMD has tried to con the entire gaming community by offering some rebates to their partners to have a price at launch that was akin to the stated MSRP but after that single day hey who cares right?  just make as much of a short term cash grab as you can and to hell with any long term benefits such as regaining lost market share.

I feel as cheated as I did with the RTX6000 series when you were saying there was insufficient stock on your store page for reference cards while simultaneously getting caught directly shipping pallet loads of them to rich bitcoin miners in Dubai.

Way to completely screw up a golden opportunity for long term benefit by going for short term gains instead. congrats to you and your AIB partners whom you don't give a flying copulation about controlling the prices of.
