How do i make a lower graphics game run on my gpu? all the lower end graphics games run on my cpu and i was wondering how to change it to run on my gpu

The game would normally  change the graphics card  resolution/settings. Older games ran on software coding to the cpu, see  if there is a setting in the game to change to hardware acceleration. This may not work because the software was not written for todays graphics cards were as x86 coding for cpu`s  has not changed significantly
