Atari to launch AMD powered Atari VCS...For $390.

It has promise, but at that price, and without a Blu-Ray player...But you can install Windows 10, and with that comes nVidia's cloud gaming service as well as other game library subscription services, and likely all the entertainment streaming services you want, plus use it as a regular Windows (or Linux) computer.

I love the retro wood-esque 80s design, something sadly forgotten over the years as white and black have become the new "in" colors...No details on which APU is used other than "Raven Ridge 2" which isn't even a code name, and likely not going to be a Ryzen 2000 series antique mobile APU, not when it says 4K gaming, so likely it's a 4800HS or other high end model.

One site says this is the AMD cpu going in this thing, seems pretty lackluster for the asking price.

Aye, how is that a 4K gaming CPU like Atari claimed?

I guess if all it does is retro gaming it's easy to do al 4K game of Asteroids. LOL

Or cloud gaming, but it is pretty daft to use an APU that old in 2020...Have to wait until launch.
