AMD desktop computer problems

Hello my name is Enol,

I bought a clonic gaming pc that includes an AMD CPU and GPU five years ago.  Since the first years my pc has been turning very hot and I had to give back my graphic card due to performance issues. Two months ago as I was playing PUBG my computer restarted several times, so I sent my pc to a informatic store in order to discover which type of problem it had. The informatician told me that my processor had several temperature regulators broken so I had to change the CPU, buying an fx 8350. Now as I enter a game, like 15 minutes later my pc restarts. I checked its temperatures and they´re ok, so I would be very grateful if you could try to solve this problem because I don´t want to spend more money in components.

Components:

CPU: AMD FX 8350

GPU: XFX R9 280X

MOTHERBOARD: GIGABYTE 970A-DS3P

RAM: DDRIII 8GB KINGSTON 1800MHZ CL9 XMP HYPERX BLU NON-ECC

POWER SUPLY: 650W RAIDER FSP 80PLUS

HARD DISK: SEAGATE BARRACUDA SATA3 500GB

SCREEN: ASUS VE228TR

OS: WINDOWS 7 64 BIT

What case are you using and what are you using for CPU and case cooling?

Your power supply may be getting worn out.  Does it run at full speed a lot?

The GPU you have requires a lot of power...

Minimum Power Supply Requirement: 750W

XFX Recommended Power Supply: XFX 850W PSU.

Hello articwind,

Thank you a lot for answering. My case is an AEROCOOL GT ADVANCE BLACK EDITION, right now I am using 3 cooling fans. My power supply runs at full speed lots of times.arcticwind

What CPU cooler are you using?

Try using at least an 850w power supply, 80 plus gold rated or better, use a good quality power supply.
