AMD Chipsets Date Question

Spoiler
Spoiler
Hey Guys, Windows installs default GPIO controller 2.0.1.0 for me. These are the same drivers as i would install from the latest AMD Chipset drivers from the website. It even says on the update utility that these drivers are up to date. The windows driver shows as 2015 in device manager and the AMD chipset one once downloaded shows 2021. But yet its the same driver version.. is there any reason to download this newer one just for the date?

Or is a 2.0.1.0 from 2015 the same as 2.0.1.0 from 2021?

Registered Open  advancedmd Windows 10 Settings. Open "App & Features" Find "AMD Chipset Software. Click on the entry. Look at the number below the AMD Logo.

There should be a second entry in dm which has the current driver version, unless your using an unsupported OS (not RTM ) version.
