AMD A10-7890K APU with Wraith Cooler new build running at about 60 Thermal Margin (AMD) but Speccy and MOBO reporting up to 80C!
What are the stock specs, Voltage, Multiplier, etc? I'm wondering if it is 'accidentally overclocked' or some bios or other settings causing it to run hot.
Or should I not believe the Motherboard Bios temps or the Speccy app?
The AMD Overdrive App seems to be reporting much cooler temps.
I even removed the Wraith Cooler and applied some better CPU paste. Made no difference.
Where do I find all the stock specs like,
AMD A10-7870K Radeon R7, 12 Compute Cores 4C+8G
CPU Multiplier (currently set at 39x)
CPU VID Voltage (Currently set at 1.45V for all 4 cores)

PCIe Speed (Currently set at 100Mhz)
HT Ref CLock (Currently set at 100Mhz)
Core Speed (Currently set at 3900 Mhz for all 4 cores)
CPU 0 (All 4 cores are the same)

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!
If you say you have a 7890, and the report says you have a 7870, there's something wrong, either your motherboard doesn't support that processor or you need to update the BIOS.
Thanks for the great catch. It was a typo - I have a new AMD A10 7870K. I'm beginning to believe that the only problem I have is believing SPECCY for my temps. AMD OVERDRIVE seems to be more accurate I think.
AMD Overdrive is the last program you should use. Speccy is accurate, but it depends on if the temperature is reported correctly by the CPU itself. Plus since you're getting error results of a 6300mhz max frequency, I'd suggest checking your BIOS again.
