6500xt help

so im building a pc and im getting a 6500xt(i know its controversial and everyone hates it but from yt benchmark videos for the games i will play its fine) and i dont get this whole pci 3.0/4.0 thing, is this motherboard( Gigabyte B660M DS3H DDR4 Micro ATX LGA1700 Motherboard) good for it?

so first off we need to know what CPU you are getting before choosing a motherboard as prob the biggest starting factor is what CPU socket

Well, according to the specs on manufacturers website the motherboard should have the PCIe 4.0 slot so if you're worried about wether the board will gimp your GPU this one shouldn't, but make sure to double check when you're buying what the sellers specs claim.

Other than that, like the person above said, you should really start with the CPU and then choose the board according to that.
