I have downloaded the RGB controller software to the wraith prism cooler, but i can't seem to actually change the coolers colors. When I try to apply a setting this lights blink and then the fan blades are red (also were before) and the ring around switches between colors same as before.

Same here, it got rid of its usual animation for me and now just have a boring generic RGB rainbow effect.

Updated, all cables properly connected, tried starting Prism as admin, etc.

I figured it out!

I'm guessing that you have both your cables connected to the cooler, right (one USB and one JRGB)?

Disconnect the JRGB cable and it will work!
