I am trying to install "radeon-crimson-16.7.3-with-dotnet45-win7-64bit" from the previous stable driver version.

I also tried the hotfix version and it's still not working

What ever I do I get these messages(see attached files)

With or without an antivirus, after using the amd clean up utiliy, or display driver uninstaller, I just cannot install the driver.

did this happen to anyone else

Windows 7 64bit

Asus H87-Plus

Radeon R9 380 from gigabytes

Kingston value ram 16G

Use stable version or 16.8.1 or try again and don't panic.

It ended up being the video card that was defective, waiting for RMA
