Why Vsr Refreshrate is locked

I only have 60hz in VSR ...

I do not understand why, the display in native resolution support a really wide range of refresh rate that are all available from lowrez to HD in scaling mode but not in VSR.

So is there a way to unlock other refresh right now... or it is  something that need to be requested /implemented into the driver...

It is the native resolution of the monitor that matters.

What Is Virtual Super Resolution and How Does It Work?

Re: Why Vsr Refreshrate is locked

On Nvidia I could run DSR 2880 x 1620 @144Hz. Now on AMD I cannot even run 2560 x 1440 at the same refresh rate, I can only do 120Hz.

It's a shortcoming in the driver, and it really needs to be updated.

Re: Why Vsr Refreshrate is locked

Really look like it's a shortcoming in the driver.   In upscale mode the picture can be rendered in every refresh rate supported by the display. But in VSR it looks like only the 60Hz or 120Hz are kept. Any other refresh rate are left out.  It's not a big deal in most situation but like but you said if the monitor support 144hz we get 120hz.. and if the monitor support 100hz we get 60Hz so it's a kind of software limitation.
