My PC is powered by Gigabyte b450M S2H, bios F50 with Ryzen 3 3100, 8GB RAM, and Transcend MTE110S 128GB, SSD M.2 2280, PCIe NVMe, 3D TLC.

Will the installation of the chipset drivers at

be sufficient ?  The realease notes

use many abbreviations that are not clear to me (e.g. AMD USB 3.0 Driver for ZP   -  what is "ZP", AMD CIR Driver  - what is "CIR".

AMD Chipsets normally has a newer version than your motherboard's Chipsets version. But if the Motherboard CHIPSET version has almost the same date or version as the AMD CHIPSETs I would first install the Motherboard's CHIPSET drivers since it is made specifically for your motherboard.

The AMD or Motherboard Chipset will automatically install or update whatever driver your motherboard needs for the hardware it has. So I would download and install the AMD CHIPSET or Motherboard CHIPSET and see if everything works or is recognized.

If a hardware is not recognize I would first go to the Hardware Support site and make sure you have the latest driver installed plus you also have the latest BIOS Version installed.

If none of your USB or NVME SSD devices are recognized then you need to post back for more help from other Users here at AMD Forums.

Windows 7 is obsolete, don't expect new feature support

Those drivers should work for USB.

NVME drivers for win 7 your probably going to need to contact the drive maker for. (and they may not support it)

CIR is consumer infrared, I doubt you have any devices that need this.

I agree with hardcoregames™‌ win 7 is obsolete.

A win 10 upgrade will save you a lot of hassle in the long run.

Yeah me too.

I have regretted some windows upgrades in the past but not the windows 10 upgrade.
