I have a Sony A1 that can shoot 8k 30fps, it can also shoot 4k at 120fps. When I import 4k footage everything is fine, when I import 8k footage I get a "Media Pending" error that does not go away. I contacted adobe support and their "solution" was to install a generic windows graphics driver. This solved the problem and allowed me to edit 8k footage on my timeline, but caused too many other issues with my system. This leads me to believe that the AMD driver is somehow at fault.
