Lots of posts with different issues with DDU and removing/not removing files/folders. Also the issue with disconnecting from the internet or blocking Windows update.
There are options that can prevent these issues. These have changed over the years...some of the options now were "Experimental" a couple of years ago and makes this a much more useful tool.
