I updated my graphics driver to version 24.7.1 a couple of days ago. Ever since then on start up or waking from sleep, my display shows corrupted images. Usually occurs every other time I turn on my computer or wake it from sleep. The corrupted screen is usually on the left side of my monitor and about a quarter the size of the display size. 

What should I do here? Is there a fix? Reinstall?

Hi, had the same issue. I rolled my driver back to 24.6.1. I reckon I'll try 24.8.1 and see if the issue persists. The weird graphics crash on waking from sleep scared the crap out of me the first time it happened.
