I've been using the lastest updates of AMD software and I got this problem today.

I have an ACER Nitro 5 AMD FX 9830P RADEON 7 and RX 500 series. I can play normally when I have the laptop pluged in but  if I try to use pluged off I get Thread Stuck in Device Driver  problem (you know that blue screen) I don't know what to do. I´m using windows 10.

I have the same problem from january, when i bought the Acer nitro, that happen on every actualization :c

Yeah I kinda found the fix, as the comment says, I did change the settings of the computer to high performance but also change the batery performance. I  changed  CPU to 50% (minimum 10% - maximum 50%). I also made an update to windows 10 and re installed the drivers like 3 times.

In the computer power settings/advanced setting.....unplugged/battery.... choose high performance. The default is power saving.

Normally, people don't play PC games on battery power......runs the battery down too fast.
