I've the same problem.
After setting up my new system, I installed StoreMI and it worked properly. I then set back my system to a recovery point I made using Acronis True Image. This broke my system to the point that I had to completely start from scratch. I wiped my disks and installed Windows. This time I decided not to use StoreMI on my bootable partition and installed it on a second partition. When trying to start it however I get the error message.
