Specs:

• RX 480
• Windows 10 64bit
• Crimson Relive 16.2.2
  
• E-Motion 1080p 60hz LED TV
• MSI Z97 PC Mate 1150 Motherboard
• Intel Core I7 4790
• Antec HCG 850M PSU
  
• 16GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM

Issue:

• After upgrading my Radeon 7990 to an RX 480, the monitor has become very blurry. I am using HDMI to connect the RX 480 to the TV, which I am using a monitor.
• When using the Microsoft Basic Display driver, there is no issue. The screen looks fine. I have tried several drivers were released between September and now. None of them fix the issue.
• I've tried messing around with overscan/scaling settings. None seem to fix it. This cannot be a hardware issue, since the monitor works fine when there are no drivers installed.
  

Any Ideas?

I've tried the steps in that thread:

• Morphological filtering is already turned off.
• The DPI Fix tool did not fix the problem.
• Cleartype does not fix the problem.
• Changing the DPI settings just makes the text look bigger.

Did the following:

• Used the AMD Clean uninstall tool, and reinstalled the drivers.
• Checked that the monitor was set to native resolution
• Reset any settings in the monitor itself
• Installed the earliest drivers with RX 480 support
• Installed the latest stable driver, as well as the latest beta driver.

Still no success...

My first guess would have been overscan. What refresh rate did you set under monitor?

It's set to 60Hz in the Windows settings. I did notice that on the "Panel Information" in the Radeon Additional Settings set the Maximum Refresh rate to 75Hz. I posted both screenshots here:

Hold on , how did you manage to get that screen and how did you manage to open the Radeon Additional setting ? My screen have been blurry as hell like many others since the recent updates but most of our problems come from the fact that we cannot open the CCC , you on the other hand have access to the setting i need to fix my screen. Did you just click on Radeon Additional Setting and it work for you ? If so are you using 16.12.2 or 16.12.1 ? If you are using any version prior to these 2 , where did you find it ? That would help me a lot.

What is the exact model of your tv? Trying to find a manual for it.

Just go to Radeon Settings - Preferences - Radeon additional settings.

I am using version 16.12.2
