Just to let you know that Sapphire Trixx Boost Software version 8.2. Boost works on non Sapphire GPUs.
You can download it here: https://www.sapphiretech.com/en/software
I tested it with XFX and PowerColor and Gigabyte GPUs.
It installs fine and it creates custom resolutions o.k.
Image sharpening is also activated.
I am not certain it is worth installing because you can create the same custom resolutions using AMD Adrenalin 2020 20.3.2, and Image Sharpening function is available in the Adrenalin 2020 GUI/UI anyhow.
If you are running an Nvidia GPU, Sapphire Trixx boost will do nothing for you, however, you can also create custom resolutions easily in Nvidia control panel. Nvidia Control panel also includes sharpening filter.
Over and out.
Can it create custom downsampling resolutions (higher than native)? VSR is limited to 5120x2880 for 4K displays, and GeDoSaTo only works with few DX9 titles. (VSR above 5K when, AMD?!)
Sapphire Trixx allows me to downscale from:
By a factor from 70-95%.
On a 4K display with Native resolution.
I do not believe it supports AMD Virtual Super Resolution.
Let me try.
I just turned on VSR for the AMD GPU I tested (RX Vega 64 Liquid).
That gives me a 5120x2880 "VSR" in Windows Display Options.
I reboot and relaunch Sapphire Trixx Software,
Same options available to create custom resolutions below 4K, 2K, 1080p.
So the answer to your question is no.
